sprkly keeps your media so it can post it at the time you set. The rules are the same on every plan.
How long we keep it
- Waiting to post (a draft, waiting for approval, or scheduled): until it posts. No time limit.
- Posted: 48 hours after it goes out on every account you picked. Then we delete the original.
- Failed: 7 days after the post failed.
- Uploaded but never used: 7 days after upload.
- In an idea you have not changed for 30 days: we delete the media. The idea stays.
- In a template you have not changed for 7 days: we delete the media. The template stays.
- Our cleanup runs once a day, so a file may stay a little longer.
What we keep after a post goes out
- A photo: one smaller copy, 1080 px on its longest side.
- A very large photo we cannot shrink gets no copy.
- A video: one still image from it, 480 px.
- They show your posts in your calendar and your stats.
- They do not count toward your space.
- Videos sent through the API or an AI tool get no still.
Repost
- A photo: Repost uses the smaller copy.
- A video, after its original is gone: Repost asks you to add the video again.
- So keep your videos on your phone or computer.
What deleting means
- A post that is live stays on the platform. Deleting our copy does not touch it.
- There is no media library. To use a deleted file again, add it again.
- Want a file gone sooner? Email privacy@sprkly.app.
How much space you get
- Free: 1 GB per account.
- Creator: 25 GB, shared by all your accounts.
- Brand: 50 GB, shared.
- Pro: 150 GB, shared.
- Agency: 500 GB, shared.
- It holds the files for your queued posts. Space frees up when we delete them.
- Only files you upload count. Posts sprkly brings in from your accounts do not.
Delete it all now
