Schedule your first post

Open Compose and work top to bottom:

Guide me

  • On your first post, Guide me is on. It shows the steps at the top: Accounts, Post, Automation, When.
  • Automation only shows when you pick an Instagram account. You can skip it.
  • Turn it on or off with the Guide me switch at the top.

1. Pick the account

Your connected accounts appear as chips at the top. Click to select one or several. Selecting accounts on different platforms cross-posts the same content to each.

2. Add media

Upload photos or one video. Instagram takes up to 20 photos in a carousel. TikTok takes up to 35. Threads takes up to 20. Facebook takes up to 10. JPEG is the most reliable photo format across platforms, and video should be vertical 9:16 for Reels, TikTok, and Shorts. Threads and Facebook Pages also work text-only.

3. Title and caption

A title is required for YouTube and TikTok. Every post needs some text or a photo. If it has neither, you see "Add some text or a photo first." and it won't schedule. Use Quick Captions to reuse ones you save.

4. Platform settings

If you selected TikTok, choose a privacy level (TikTok requires this on every post, and the section is open by default). YouTube's category and privacy live in a collapsible section with sensible defaults.

5. When to post

Pick Now, In 1 hour, Tomorrow 9AM, or a custom date and time. Then hit Schedule. Your post appears on the Schedule calendar, and sprkly publishes it automatically at the right minute. If a publish fails, we retry automatically and email you if it can't recover.

Move or bin a post

  • Open Schedule and click a post in the week view.
  • Move picks a new time for a post that is still waiting. It is on a computer only, not a phone.
  • Move to Bin takes a post off your calendar. A post that is already live can't be binned here.
  • A failed post shows why it failed. No button posts it again. Fix the cause, then make a new post.
